About the role
Role & responsibilitiesResponsible for designing, executing and maintaining both automated and manual testing activities to ensure high quality and reliability of software solutions. Contributes to defining and implementing test automation strategies, including maturity assessments and implementation guidance. Supports quality assurance processes across the full software development lifecycle by combining hands-on test automation with manual validation where required. Key Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesDesign, create, maintain and execute automated test scripts as well as manual test cases to improve testing efficiency and product quality. Create and maintain scalable, reusable and extensible automation frameworks aligned with organizational needs and delivery standards. Analyze test results, identify defects and support root cause analysis in close collaboration with development and business teams. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, test coverage and integration of automated tests into CI/CD delivery pipelines. Key Competencies & Skills requiredTechnicalGood knowledge of one or more of the automation platformsGood Knowledge of test automation of one or more of the mentioned platforms: Client/Server/WebExperience with API testing toolsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into delivery processesExperience with version control systems (e.g. Git)Understanding of test design techniques, test strategy and quality assurance best practicesAbility to analyze test results, identify root causes and support defect resolutionAbility to proactively consult and support stakeholders in topics related to test automation and quality assuranceYears Experience & KnowledgeAt least 3 - 5 years of professional experience around test automationGood knowledge of processes and methods around software quality and testingHands-on experience with test automation tools for (e.g. Cypress)Hands-on experience with common script languages (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript).Good knowledge of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)Good knowledge of GitHubInitial experience with at least one object-oriented programming language Role & responsibilitiesResponsible for designing, executing and maintaining both automated and manual testing activities to ensure high quality and reliability of software solutions.
