About the role
Join our Team: About this opportunity: What you will do: - Fine-tune databases for performance, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement improvements. - Define and enforce DB-related best practices, security policies, and protections against SQL/NoSQL injection; manage encryption protocols. - Plan and execute database patching and upgrades per procedures and best practices. - Design, implement and manage Data Guard or equivalent replication and synchronization for migrations, including delta data migration and validation. The skills you bring: - Strong Enterprise DBA experience with performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting for RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/Postgres) and familiarity with NoSQL where applicable. - Proven experience in DB security: access controls, encryption, injection prevention and policy enforcement. - Hands-on experience with database patching, upgrades, backup/recovery and high-availability solutions (Data Guard/replication). - Experience setting up DB environments from scratch and configuring backend/app integration. - Solid data analysis skills for performance optimization and capacity planning. - Scripting/automation skills (Shell, PowerShell, Python) for operational tasks and migrations.
