IT Business Analyst Job Description Role Summary The IT Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. They analyze business needs, translate them into IT requirements, and ensure technology solutions deliver measurable value. This role is critical in aligning IT systems with organizational goals and improving efficiency. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into functional IT requirements. Document workflows, processes, and system specifications. Solution Design & Validation Work with developers, architects, and vendors to design solutions that meet business objectives. Conduct gap analysis between current systems and desired outcomes. Project Support Support IT project planning, testing, and implementation. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure alignment. Testing & Quality Assurance Develop test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Validate that delivered solutions meet agreed requirements. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to optimize processes and systems. Provide insights on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
