About the role
As a TechOps Cloud DevOps Tech Lead at EY, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future by leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms, Landing Zone architecture, and enterprisescale cloud governance. Your responsibilities will include leading and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers to implement secure, scalable, and standardized infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation best practices. You will be accountable for platform architecture decisions, operational guardrails, and ensuring alignment with enterprise security and compliance standards. Additionally, you will serve as the primary escalation point for major incidents, driving root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement. Collaboration with engineering, architecture, security, and infrastructure teams is essential to deliver highavailability services, ensure operational excellence, and support digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices - Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and processes - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively - Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and pride in supporting internal customers - Collaborate closely with core team members to achieve shared goals - Actively share knowledge with developers and support their growth through mentoring and guidance Technologies and Tools: Must haves: - GitHub & GitHub Actions - Harness (CI/CD) - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CFT / Ansible - JFrog Platform (Artifactory, Xray) - Kubernetes & Linux - Programming & Scripting Languages: Python, TypeScript, Java Good to have: - Jenkins - Multi Platform CI/CD Environments - Monitoring, Logging & Observability (New Relic, BigPanda, Grafana, Splunk) - Security & Compliance - Release & Deployment Management - System Reliability & Troubleshooting Qualifications: To qualify for this role, you should have: - 8 to 10 years of experience in cloud platforms, DevOps engineering, infrastructure automation, and operations leadership - Demonstrated experience managing cloud environments at enterprise scale - Expertise in defining DevOps practices, automation frameworks, and continuous delivery standards - Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow - Certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ400) and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (DOP-C02) are preferred Join EY and be part of a globally connected powerhouse where you can develop future-focused skills, experience world-class opportunities, and contribute to building a better working world.
