As an Automation Test Engineer at EY Consulting, you will be accountable and responsible for various automation tasks. Your main responsibilities will include: - Performing automation expediency - Suggesting automation approaches - Building automation framework - Automating manual test cases - Maintaining and executing regression tests - Ensuring that all automation needs are properly met and aligned with customer expectations To excel in this role, you should have expertise in automation tools such as Selenium and Protractor. Additionally, knowledge of TestNG and Cucumber BDD Frameworks for automation testing on web and mobile applications is essential. Being an expert in Java is a must, and having knowledge of VB scripting and Python will be considered an added advantage. Qualifications required for this role: - BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc degree - 5-10 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and domains - At least 5 years of experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or Protractor Ideally, you will also possess the following skills and attributes: - Hands-on experience in developing frameworks on Selenium frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, and Rest Assured - Ability to create QA strategy and automation approach from scratch - Experience in articulating the value and ROI of automation to clients - Proficiency in conducting proof-of-concepts and tool selection - Strong communication skills to interact with clients and address their business needs effectively - Willingness to take on both individual contributor and team leader roles In summary, as an Automation Test Engineer at EY Consulting, you will play a crucial role in automating testing processes, building frameworks, and ensuring that automation needs are met to meet customer expectations.
