Life Actuarial Manager

As a Manager in the Life Actuarial team at EY GDS Consulting Global Delivery Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering actuarial solutions to clients within the insurance sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering high-quality results and providing impactful solutions - Offering focused solutions and training to staff members - Ensuring all engagements are completed within agreed timelines - Reviewing work completed by junior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables - Consistently driving projects to completion and maintaining a high standard of work To excel in this role, you should have: - Good analytical skills - Hands-on experience in actuarial valuation and projections using FIS Prophet - Strong understanding of Prophet model structure, data flows, and control processes - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of VBA is advantageous - Project management experience and the ability to manage teams and multiple stakeholders - High level of self-motivation and ownership in driving deliverables - Strong presentation and documentation skills To qualify for this position, you are required to have 6-12 years of experience in actuarial reserving, assumption setting, US GAAP/STAT, and FIS Prophet. Additionally, a strong academic background in actuarial science, business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
