Senior Data Engineer - AI and Data on Azure Cloud

Role Overview: As a Senior EY BOT Data Engineer at EY, you will be responsible for providing data solutions by utilizing software to process, store, and serve data to others. Your role will involve testing data quality, optimizing data availability, and ensuring scalable, repeatable, and secure data pipelines. You will have the opportunity to build a deep dive analytical skillset by collaborating with higher-level Data Engineers on various internal and external data projects. Key Responsibilities: - Write ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing. - Troubleshoot software and processes to maintain data consistency and integrity, integrating data from multiple sources for business partners to derive insights and make informed decisions. - Translate business specifications into design specifications and code, ensuring well-structured, documented, and easily maintainable and reusable code. - Partner with internal clients to understand business functions and informational needs, gaining working knowledge in tools, technologies, and applications specific to business areas and company-wide systems. - Participate in all phases of solution development, explaining technical considerations in meetings with business clients. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of three to six years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, programming, database administration, or data management. - Graduate degree (Bachelors Degree, BCA, or Masters) or equivalent combination of training and experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and accountability with end-to-end ownership.
