Senior Guidewire Technical Lead

As a Technical Lead in the IT Consulting Services team at EY, you will be responsible for working on various Guidewire implementation projects with Portal and EDGE implementation for customers globally. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Contribute as a team leader in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects - Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators - Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team - Mentor project team members in executing identified projects - Provide regular status reports to the Manager and onsite coordinators - Interface with customer representatives when necessary - Willingness to travel to customer locations as required - Ability to handle demanding clients and deliveries As a team leader, you will also be expected to: - Build a quality culture within the team - Manage performance for direct reports according to organization policies - Foster teamwork and lead by example - Provide training and mentorship to project resources - Participate in organization-wide people initiatives Qualifications required for this role include: - BE/BTech/MCA with 7 to 10 years of industry experience - Mandatory skills in Java 8+, JSON, REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Javascript, and HTML - Strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic - Real-time experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Understanding and experience of software development best practices - Excellent business communication and leadership skills - Experience in Guidewire Portals and Insurance domain, particularly in Property & Casualty Preferred skills for this position: - Experience in Guidewire, Policy Center Configuration/Integration/Conversion - Prior client-facing experience - Knowledge of REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Core Java, Gosu, and Insurance sector domain experience - Familiarity with Git repository, Guidewire Certification, and Template Design Pattern In addition to the technical aspects of the role, EY is committed to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet.
