About the role

As an Electrical/ELV BIM Modeller at Escher Labs, your primary responsibility will be to develop and coordinate detailed BIM models for electrical and ELV systems. You will ensure accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project requirements and standards. Your daily tasks will include interpreting and modeling from construction drawings, updating models based on design changes, and collaborating with architects, structural, and MEP teams to resolve clashes and inconsistencies. Additionally, you will produce coordinated drawings, layouts, and documentation for design reviews, approvals, and site execution. You will also support quality checks, adopt company BIM standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, libraries, and workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and coordinate detailed BIM models for electrical and ELV systems - Interpret and model from construction drawings - Update models based on design changes - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes and inconsistencies - Produce coordinated drawings, layouts, and documentation - Support quality checks and adopt company BIM standards - Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, libraries, and workflows Qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for electrical and ELV systems - Ability to interpret and develop detailed Construction Drawings and documentation - Understanding of Architecture and coordination with multidisciplinary design teams - Experience as a BIM Modeler (or similar modeling role) in building services projects - Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination principles - Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and best practices for electrical and ELV design - Proficiency in common BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD or equivalent) - Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in project teams - Willingness to learn new tools and contribute to digital transformation initiatives As an Electrical/ELV BIM Modeller at Escher Labs, your primary responsibility will be to develop and coordinate detailed BIM models for electrical and ELV systems.
