Job Description Assistant Manager (IT) Position: Assistant Manager IT Location: Kolkata, West Bengal Vacancies: 1 Experience: 8 10 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in the Tea Industry, with strong expertise in handling ERP systems. Educational Qualification: Minimum B.Sc. in IT / MCA from a reputed institution (Distance learning or correspondence courses will not be considered). Joining: Immediate joiners preferred Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain ERP systems (preferably Grill5) across multiple locations, including head office and estates. Oversee both technical and administrative aspects of ERP management. Conduct training and orientation sessions for new technology users to enhance adoption and efficiency. Ensure reliable IT infrastructure, effective internet access, and smooth user experience across the organization. Provide timely troubleshooting, support, and repair services for IT equipment, networks, and user issues. Monitor online security and take preventive and corrective measures to safeguard systems and networks. Establish and maintain strong data storage, backup, and recovery processes to protect business information. Develop and maintain emergency plans to address system, power, or security failures. Manage IT support staff and coordinate with external vendors to deliver effective solutions. Track IT departmental budgets and monitor expenses related to equipment and staffing. Build and maintain vendor relationships for technology and component procurement. Provide IT support for implementation and management of business software on servers and cloud platforms. Desired Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of ERP systems implementation and maintenance. Expertise in IT infrastructure, network administration, and system security. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage IT budgets and resources effectively. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. Leadership ability to guide IT teams and support organizational objectives. Effective communication and training delivery skills.
