Job Title: R&D Head Department: Research & Development Location: Baddi, Himachal Pradesh Vacancy: 1 Experience Required: 10 15 Years CTC Range: 12 15 LPA Job Description: We are looking for an innovative and results-driven R&D Head to lead our Research & Development department for the Fans division at our Baddi location. The ideal candidate will spearhead product innovation, technology advancement, and cost optimization initiatives, ensuring the company stays ahead in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities: Lead the R&D team in the development of new fan products, technologies, and performance enhancements. Manage and drive end-to-end product development cycles, from concept to prototyping to production readiness. Collaborate with design, quality, production, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product features. Evaluate and implement energy-efficient and cost-effective technologies aligned with market trends and standards. Ensure all R&D activities comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D team. Work closely with vendors and external partners to source new materials, technologies, and components. Monitor industry developments and competitor activity to identify opportunities for product differentiation. Lead intellectual property (IP) and patent-related initiatives where applicable. Desired Candidate Profile: B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related fields. 10 15 years of relevant R&D experience, preferably in the fan or consumer electrical appliance industry . Strong knowledge of product design, prototyping, testing, and validation processes. Experience with CAD, simulation software, and modern product development tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Passion for innovation, quality, and customer-centric product development.
