Job Title: Technical Program Manager Location: Pune, India Industry: Information Technology (IT) Salary Range: 20 25 LPA Experience Required: 10 to 30 Years (Minimum relevant experience: 10+ years) Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic IT team in Pune. This role is critical in driving large-scale programs and delivering complex, cross-functional technical projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, detail-oriented executor, and seasoned leader with a strong background in program management methodologies and technical delivery. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end program execution for large, cross-functional initiatives with a focus on delivering business outcomes on time and within scope. Drive Agile/Scrum practices across multiple scrum teams to ensure alignment and efficiency. Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements. Track and manage dependencies, risks, and issues across programs using tools such as JIRA and Confluence . Regularly report status updates, KPIs, and program health to leadership and stakeholders. Establish and enforce best practices for program governance, communication, and change management. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives across teams as needed. Provide technical insights and guidance, ensuring that teams are aligned on architecture, design, and quality. Top 3 Mandatory Skills: Large Program Management Proven success in managing large-scale IT programs across multiple teams and geographies. Scrum/Agile Experience Deep understanding of Agile methodologies with hands-on experience managing Agile delivery at scale. JIRA and Confluence Expertise Strong experience using Atlassian tools for planning, tracking, and documentation of technical programs. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Professional certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Program Consultant, or CSM/CSPO are a plus. Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, agile product development environment.
