QA Automation Engineer - Mobile

Role Overview: Verona is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for testing the Verona mobile app, ensuring all features function as intended, and providing a high-quality user experience on both iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify, document, and resolve bugs and performance issues. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct end-to-end manual testing on iOS and Android platforms to ensure reliability and a seamless user experience. - Design and execute detailed test cases, edge-case scenarios, and exploratory tests for new features and legacy flows. - Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working with the engineering team for rapid resolutions. - Build and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile apps using modern tools and best practices. - Perform performance, load, stress, and endurance tests to ensure app stability under real-world conditions. - Test app compatibility across various devices, screen sizes, OS versions, and network conditions. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to align QA timelines with build pipelines. - Conduct security, privacy, and compliance validations to ensure data protection and regulatory adherence. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in manual and automated mobile app testing. - Proficiency in API testing, bug tracking tools like JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
