Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled (overall 8+ years of experience, 4+ years in architectural setup) and experienced AD (Active Directory) Engineer to join our team. The AD Engineer will play a critical role in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our organization's Active Directory infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure Active Directory, and related technologies to ensure the secure and efficient operation of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

· Should work on AD Architecture / Entra ID (Azure AD) design and implementation.

· Should have knowledge of ADDS Architecture, Vault Partner

· Should have extensive experience in integration (including cross platform e.g. SAS, Client etc.) of different applications with knowledge of SSO.

· Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD) services for the organization.

· Critical to have exposure on design of AD / Entra ID (Azure AD) infrastructure in federated / multi cloud / Hybrid environment.

· Manage and administer AD / Entra ID (Azure AD) to enable cloud-based services and secure authentication and authorization.

· Design and understand high availability and performance feature of Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD) services.

· Design and Implement Group Policies structure to enforce security and compliance policies such as IAM, PAM.

· Collaborate with other IT teams to design and integrate Active Directory with other systems and applications.

· Performa and remediated security assessments and corresponding remediation of AD environment as per best practices.

· Planning and executing Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD) upgrades and migrations.

· Monitor system performance and reliability, taking proactive steps to optimize and improve the environment.

· Strong understanding of AD Attributes, LDAP Queries, PowerShell Scripting to Modify AD Attributes, Group Policy Analysis, GPO Configuration and item-level Targeting, Workstation Configurations, Browser Configuration Settings.

· Thorough functional understanding and ability to configure Active Directory Server Roles (CAs, IIS, File/Print, DNS).

· Working knowledge of GPOs, AD Sites, Replication Topology, and native AD troubleshooting tools.

· Implement and design a directory synchronization system for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and identity management solutions.

· GPO, Radius, CA, ADFS.

· Knowledge of principals of hash privileges.

· This role needs to interact with different domain areas for the different requirements,

Qualifications

• · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• · Proven experience as an Active Directory Engineer or similar role.

• · In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure Active Directory.

• · Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in AD.

• · Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.

• · Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts.

• · Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or MCSE.

• · Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• · Ability to work independently and in a team.

• · Preferred Qualifications (not required but a plus):

• · Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).

• · Knowledge of other cloud identity management solutions.
