AD SW Development Engineer

Talented Software Developer is required to develop Autonomous Driving Features compliant with functional safety principles and Autosar standards.

The ideal candidate is familiar with the analysis of requirements and the verification activities in SIL, HIL and VIL, having a good understanding of modern safety critical electronic control units and automotive standards.

Job description:

As an AD SW Engineer, you will be responsible for:

· Development of the state machines and algorithms for Autonomous Driving customer functions based on the Stellantis requirements.

· Managing and fixing the bugs discovered by other teams according to priority and severity.

· Ensuring the quality of delivered products through the creation and execution of tests in SIL, HIL and VIL

· Supporting the vehicle team to tune and enable the autonomous driving customer functions as per Stellantis requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Master's degree in computer engineering/computer science/ Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, Complex System Physics or related field

• At least 5 years of experience in automotive sector (either OEM or Tier1)

• At least 3 years of experience in C/C++ development

• Experience in Matlab/Simulink/State Flow and Model-Based Design

• Experience with Autonomous Driving, Driver Assistance Systems

• Knowledge of Autosar Classic process and methodology

• Knowledge of Autosar Adaptive

• Knowledge of Automotive communication protocols (CAN, Automotive Ethernet)

• Experience with Linux

• Knowledge of Git

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in software design (architecture)

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Experience with multi-core architecture and micro-controllers

• Experience with Bus Monitoring tools (e.g. CANoe/CANalyzer/Wireshark)

• Experience in Verification and Validation

• Integration and testing of AD functions on prototype vehicles

• Experience in diagnosis of ECUs (DTCs definition)

• Experience with ETAS INCA data acquisition tools

• Knowledge of common bus interfaces (CAN, Automotive Ethernet)
