Project:
There are 3 existing projects in this pod: home&Away, Jade Privileges and Global Loyalty Portal (aka GLP).
First two are essentially the same project with the same project but different websites: they serve a purpose of offers browser available in Client for different customers’ type. The business case is, when user has Client credit card, she is able to redeem some discounts or other offers while paying Client card, but they need to know up front about that opportunity – and here is where this website helps those users. The project contains two sub-projects: first, the front-end application written in AngularJS and partially jQuery that is responsible for showing the content taken from the another sub-project, which exposes semantic query language for offers returned in JSON, which get consumed by the front-end app. This project is based on Servlet component installed in AEM platform.
Global Loyalty Portal is a React app, which sits within AEM landscape that covers business case where users are enrolled in loyalty programme which gives them an opportunity to earn some points for particular actions (e.g. pay with Client credit card) and then spend them using available redemption items (vouchers, airmiles, etc.). Both journeys are implemented within the application, all actions are based on REST calls to exposed APIs that supports these journeys from data and process perspective. This application uses the cutting-edge integration with AEM authoring (React AEM) and follows the best practices with the modularization of React components, making them completely free to author and set up in different websites.
