Android Developer

We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits.This Android app developer will work with our team to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

• Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

• You have an eye for User Interface and Visual Design and can make strong recommendations based on Android Interface design guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven software development experience and Android skills development

• Proven working experience in Android app development and Java.

• Have published at least one original Android app

• At least 4 years of experience with Android SDK

• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

• You understand at least 1-2 complex technologies like OpenGL, BLE, Location based tech, Speech recognition, Augmented Reality, etc.

• You have experience working with cross-functional teams across several countries, as you'll need to work with everyone--clients, PMs, UX/UI designers, QA, server devs, and mobile web devs.

• You clearly understand the SOLID principles, dependency injection, mocking, and domain modeling techniques.

• Desired Skills:

• Experience publishing a high quality Android application to the Google Play Store

• Experience in creating hybrid apps is a plus

• Experience with communication and messaging applications

• Experience with security software and solutions

• Previous experience with Client will be plus.
