Job Description

We are looking for self-motivated Apigee expert to drive innovations on technology interoperable platforms with Apigee for enterprise customers in diverse industry verticals. Key focus areas would be Apigee Edge and real time analytics (Apigee Insights)

Responsibilities

• • Design and implement solutions to address business problems in various industry verticals.

• • Create approach notes, roadmap and product comparison/fitment matrix for the customer requirements

• • Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology(POT) evaluation on interoperable technology platforms

• • Train and mentor developers towards solution development and POC/POT execution

• • Support presales engineering activities for Apigee and other API Management RFPs

• Must have:

• • Minimum 10 years of solid IT consulting experience in integration, cloud related technologies and DevOps implementation

• • Experience with ApigeeEdge API Platform hard-core Administration

• • Design and implementation of Apigee, including design to develop shared/reusable components.

• • Thorough understanding APIGEE component architecture Component configuration

• • Hands-on experience on APIGEE On-Premise installation & upgrade

• • Strong Linux experience

• • Knowledge of curl commands, HTTP, TCP/IP, load balancing, Bash, and firewalls

• • Experience on integrating APIGEE with authentication system e.g. ADS

• • Certificate management

• • Able to interpret requirements to develop Apigee EDGE APIs in CI/CD and Agile process.

• • In Depth knowledge of Apigee EDGE architecture

• • Knowledge of KVA, BAAS and other components of Apigee

• • Using API Management technology and customer’s business requirements design and document a comprehensive technical architecture.

• • Using business SLAs and a technical architecture calculate performance and volumetric requirements for infrastructure components

• • Design an architecture using cloud and/or on premise technology

• • Plan and execute a technology proof-of-concept (POC) using API Management products

• • Experience in handling the Structured and Unstructured data using NoSQL (Any tools, best practice & Industry trends), REST/JSON, node.js

• • Experience for managing the full life-cycle of Apigee/API Management solution. This includes creating the requirements analysis, the platform selection, design of the technical architecture, design of the application design and development, testing, and deployment of the proposed solution.

• Hands on technical competences:

• • Most of Java/J2EE, Linux, Apache, PHP, PEARL, Python, C, C++

• • Apigee Edge, Apigee Analytics (Insights), node.js, Web Services or similar API Management tools

• • NoSQL databases – Cassandra, MongoDB

• • Integration technology [Any] (IBM, TIBCO, MuleSoft etc)

• • Azure DevOps tools and implementation

• Thorough in Web Services and RESTful design and development (Any tool)

• • Detailed knowledge of RDBMS data modelling and SQL
