About the role
Architect – 2 resources in Zurich
Your role
Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future banking technology? Do you have proven ability to design, develop and deploy complex platforms and applications? Do you have the drive to innovate? We’re looking for someone like that to help us to:
– design innovative analytic applications aligned to business and IT requirements, transferring business problems into technical solutions
– collaborate closely with other software architects to enhance the current application landscape and drive deployment of data warehouse/lake components
– work with other technical disciplines to harmonize requirements, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose in our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
– support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
Your experience
– proven track record as an IT architect, preferably within the finance sector
– a degree in information technology or equivalent working experience
– architecture certification and experience with TOGAF is a plus
– big data certifications are a plus
– in-depth experience with large and complex data warehouses/lakes
– strong expertise in SQL and reporting on relational database systems like DB2, Client or similar
– strong expertise in big data environments like Cloudera
– a rigorous analytical mind and high attention to detail
– strong communication skills
– comfortable working in a team-oriented, agile environment
– fluent in English. German is a plus
