Detailed job description - Skill Set:
• Establish automation testing best practice, tooling and frameworks
• Analysing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Executing non functional testing for load, stress and performance
• Design and develop automation scripts where appropriate
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Provide support and documentation
• Support the development of a testing strategy, testing plan and estimation
• Demonstration and documentation of evidence to demonstrate Acceptance Criteria.
• Participation in daily scrum to update progress on tasks.
• Participation in sprint ceremonies (retro, planning etc.) to decompose stories/PBIs into tasks and provide estimates
Mandatory Skills
Essential Skills / Experience:
• 5 years as a Software Tester or similar role
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with minimal supervision

• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Functional and non-functional testing tools and frameworks
• Junit, TDD, BDD
• Java 8
• Cucumber, Selenium, Jasmin, Gherkin
• Unit test automation, CI/CD, unit tests, integration tests
• Jenkins pipelines
• Exposure to Scrum/Agile delivery methodologies
Good to Have Skills
• Python development experience
• Javascript (ideally ES6 or ES7), building SPAs with modern framework (i.e. Angular, React)
• Springboot
• RESTful services
• HTML 5, SASS / LESS
• SQL
• Dev Ops experience
• Data analysis skills including Entity Relationship Diagrams, Object Graph Mapping
• Familiarity with systems integration concepts and solutions
• Familiarity with scheduling and orchestration tools
