Key Accountabilities

• Production of architectural visions and end-to-end designs for native AWS cloud based solutions

• Co-ordination of impact assessment activities for proposed solutions

• Be the steward for one or more capabilities/technologies, setting ongoing roadmap and direction for them ensuring all components remain in support and conform to Ventures standards

• Project governance in terms of conforming to architectural standards and strategy

• Be an active member of the Architecture function within Ventures technology

• Work closely with key stakeholders to develop designs that are fit for purpouse

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• An expert in implementing new AWS cloud technology solutions.

• Experince with cloud security

• Proven experience in architecting end to end solutions including software/application architecture and integration

• Demonstrable cloud architecture and implementation experience.

• Ability to work with a wide range of business stakeholders

Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications in AWS expected – Associate Developer or Solutions Architect. Ideally Professional

• • Practical knowledge and experience of agile/iterative development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
