Technical Authority

• Technical Authority with global experience required to fill a high-profile role managing Network service delivery with the supplier. Accountable to working with Business units and suppliers to manage service delivery covering all company geographies.

Role Expectation

• Support on-going service delivery of Networks through vital assistance from a Technical Authority perspective.

• Manage and own the current technical architectural design, and standards.

• Determine the technology lifecycle roadmap, which maximizes the benefits optimally and manages the risks effectively.

• Provide expertise to assess the benefits (tangible, intangible), service impact (serviceability, supportability), and risks of the existing and new solutions, which will enable company's business functions move to global operating models or to drive growth.

• Continuously identify areas to drive efficiencies and improvements, and risk mitigation.

• Provide expertise to fully assess and analyst the impact and risk on changes, on the existing IT Services environment.

• Lead the timely resolution of major incidents/outages through providing in-depth technical know-how, and experience.

• Support the organization in establishing the root cause analysis of major incidents/outages; within a timely manner, and of high accuracy and quality standards.

• Acts as a subject matter expert within the specific domain; assess and analyses the end-to-end technology and service impact of the change or new demand emanating from Project, TaO, Delivery or Architecture.

• Drives the maturity of problem management process by improving the quality and accuracy of RCAs, as well as ensuring learning's are captured, and implemented, preventing recurring incidents.

• Establishes a solution assessment capability that is fit for purpose from an IT Services perspective and ensures that all changes to the environment adhere to the IT Services Principles and are compliant to company's IT policies and technical security standards.

• Responsible for developing and maintaining the Technical Authority Services Framework, where the key areas of coverage are:

• Own and manage the technical architectural and service design within IT Services, in line with the overarching strategy and standards.

• Own and implement the technology life cycle roadmap.

• Streamline fragmented technologies, and drive towards the target end state.

• Continuously identify and manage the risks of technology landscape and optimize the total cost of ownership. Job type: Contract Reference: 19-00597
