Educational Qualifications

· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or Equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• · Any Azure Administrator/Architect Level Certification(s) or CKA

• · Experience with DevOps /Terraform for Infrastructure as Code / Continuous Improvement

• · Proven troubleshooting experience and a talent for solving complex problems.

• · Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

• Professional Skill Requirements

• · Minimum 5-7 years of IT experience in diverse PaaS Services (deep knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure PaaS features).

• · Specialization in designing and managing solutions involving AKS/Kubernetes.

• · Strong knowledge of the building blocks of Kubernetes, experience with setting up a cluster and deploying applications including cloud automation with AKS.

• · Knowledge of how a Kubernetes Platform operates (Service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing & Service Mesh).

• · Must have strong design experience using Azure Web & App Services Model (Web Apps, Logic Apps, Function App, Search Service, Cognitive Services and Application Services).

• · Experience working in Azure Integration Services like API Management Service, API Service Plan, API Connection, App Service and Event hub namespace)

• · Familiarity with various Azure DB Services (SQL DB, Document DB, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Warehouse etc.).

• · Working knowledge of Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs and Notification Hubs.

• · Working Understanding of Azure IoT Hub for multi-tenant environments.

• · Working Understanding of Azure Analytics features (Stream Analytics, Machine Learning and Application Insights).

• · Working knowledge of executing global development projects in Azure with DevOps approach using Visual Studio Team Services as DevOps platform.

• · Knowledge on Microsoft Cognitive Services and Power BI visualization would be an added advantage.

• Job Functions/Responsibilities

• · Design and assessment of projects’ new requirements

• · Capacity planning activities (sizing, cost estimates)

• · Development of Terraform code for PaaS components, according to the design (Fulfillment requests) and change requests (change management)

• · Active participation in troubleshooting of the problems related to PaaS components

• · Postmortem analysis (root cause analysis)

• · Reporting on the usage for billing and charge back process (separated per project and environment)

• · Proactive cost optimization proposals

• · Proactive security enhancements: hardening PaaS components according to customer Project’s data classification, using CIS recommendations and best practices

• · Interactions with Microsoft vendor (opening support cases, participating in troubleshooting, consulting of the solutions and other queries).
