About the role
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop & test highly scalable, resilient, testable services/code.
Follow the best practices around CI/CD
Work closely with Development Leads, Architects and product team to ensure the design meets the business requirements
Participate in defining & follow architecture principles and development standards set by the Architecture practice to deliver high quality code.
Work closely with Quality Assurance team to ensure and maintain quality standards
Collaborate & coordinate with Global stakeholders.
Demonstrate engineering excellence by high quality code.
Desired Skills and Experience
Should have 6-8 years of experience
Thorough understanding of OO concepts & its application in development.
Expertise in spring 3.0 +
Expertise in JQuery, JavaScript
Hands-on with REST Services
Expert working knowledge of with Hibernate / JPA
Expert working knowledge on SQL Server 2012.
Must have worked on one application or Web server like Glassfish, Tomcat etc.
Good understanding and practical knowledge of tools like Git and Bamboo.
Good working knowledge of MicroServices/Serverless Technologies
Hands on experience with cloud native applications[AWS]
Expert understanding of Data structures, Design Patterns in Java.
Willing to work in agile work environment through test driven development, continuous integration
Strong analytical skills
A good team player and have strong communication skills.
Good to Have Skills
Product / application development, and knowledge of SDLC of multiple products/applications
Good knowledge of DevOps technologies and processes related to cloud solutions.
Experience with a broad range of AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, cloud front, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, DynamoDB etc.
