BI Specialist with Qlik

Contract Role
Rate - 1100 PLN/day
Principal responsibilities
• For the whole Markets Securities and Services IT perimeter (~6000 colleagues), Metrics & Control team is in charge of providing data, analysis, KPIs and KCIs, as well as engineering innovative solutions to make the reporting, prevention and resolution of IT risks for the organization more efficient.
• The Metrics BI Specialist will be responsible for helping the team to go to the next level of reporting by integrating data visualisation solution on top of the existing data model in place.
Candidate Specifications
We require a diverse IT background with concrete development experience and an active interest in technology and programming.
Primary Technical skills:
Proven experience in qlik reporting development
Qlik Developer who can build the data logic, data model and interfaces for Qlik dashboards. Understanding Qlik scripting data analysis.
QVD knowledge: understanding how QVDs work with Qlik to provide a scalable, reusable, metadata driven data layer.
Qlik interface knowledge: Charts, Graphs, Tables, Expressions, Properties, Tabs, Layout.
SQL Data knowledge: Data acquisition and manipulations skills in SQL-compliant or other data sources.
Extract, Transform and load data from multiple data sources into QlikView application.
Secondary / Desirable Technical skills:
Broad experience with IT development and collaboration tools (Git/Bitbucket; Confluence; Jira; etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic willingness to rapidly and independently learn and develop technical and soft skills as needs require.
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Good team player who embraces team work and mutual support in a diverse working community.
Additional (bonus) Knowledge or Experience that would be an added advantage
Knowledge or experience with Development pipelines and automation in a CI/CD context.
Involvement in O/S and/or application services scripting in any of Unix/Linux shell; PowerShell; JavaScript; other.
IT industry process knowledge in some or all of ITIL; Agile/Scrum; DevOps principles.
Working in a global team with different cultures.
