About the role
Job Description: The person must have a very good knowledge and experience in developing, designing IT system architectures in the bioinformatics domain and a wide experience in related IT tools. He/She must have good experience in discussing user requirements and very good experience in designing and producing technical documentation. The technical expert person, in addition to the general technical skills foreseen for his/her profile, must have a long and wide experience in the main technologies we are using, and in related management tools, applied to the molecular biology and bioinformatics domain.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of the general skills required:

Processing data coming from Next Generation Sequencing

Python, Java, PHP, Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS

Major relational databases (MySQL and similar). Experience in NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar) is welcome

Handling/processing/exchanging data files (CSV, XML, JSON)
