About the Opportunity

We are seeking two talented Business Analysts to join our dynamic team in Central, Hong Kong. These roles are central to our digital transformation initiatives, with one position specifically dedicated to data-centric projects. You will act as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions are delivered effectively and drive tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

For Both Roles:

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements, processes, and needs.

Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, and technical specifications.

Work closely with project managers, developers, architects, and quality assurance teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.

Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders at all levels.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test plans, and assist business users during execution.

Specific to the Functional / Data Business Analyst:

Act as the primary liaison between business units and the Data / AI team.

Collaborate with the Data / AI Lead to analyze, assess, and validate data quality, sources, and structures.

Analyze and disseminate information on APIs (including documentation), data models, and system integrations .

Oversee and validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for testing environments.

Validate data mapping and integrity across source and target systems.

Develop and maintain detailed data mapping documentation and lineage.

Leverage experience in system migrations and large-scale transformation programs .

Support data-focused regression testing and data validation within UAT.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Business Analyst.

• For the Data-focused role: Demonstrable experience working with data teams, data projects, and familiarity with data concepts (ETL, APIs, data models).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, UML, BPMN).

• Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio).

• Preferred: Professional certification such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, or similar.
