About the role
Business/Data Analytics Consultant - Data Science Position Overview Business/Data Analytics specialist to lead client projects with hands-on involvement in Application Solutions, Project Management, Business Analysis and Data Analytics You will combine your analytic skills with strong problem-solving abilities to help clients to solve strategic, tactical, and operational business challenges. Experience: • Quantitative background with strong academic achievements in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Masters is Business/Data Analytics is strongly preferred. • Solid commercial experience running data analytics projects/programs • Understand and address the analytical and decision-making requirements of business end users • Liaise with Business users and help technical teams to design prescriptive models, devoted to the methodology by which the data can be analysed, patterns recognized, and models developed to clarify past events, create predictions for future events, and recommend actions to maximize ideal outcomes • You should have an advanced knowledge of SQL and analytics tools with some proficiency in Python, R or SAS is strongly preferred • Experience in Predictive Modelling, Time Series Forecasting, Market Basket Analysis, Segmentation or similar • Excellent communication and presentation skills is a must • Deliver projects to help revamp entire Data Management landscape for client • Strong experience in Data Analysis, Modelling, Domain Specification/Design/Mapping, Data Transformation including Business Transformation, APIs and Data Exchange patterns • Good working experience with Agile and Scrum, with solid, proven experience of performing business analysis activities in a scalable Agile environment. • Ability to keep abreast of and understand technology trends, see how they impact your roadmap, and how they drive innovation • Actively resolve/mitigate/escalate risks/issues/events which may affect strategic delivery and ensuring the expectations by internal and external stakeholders are managed accordingly • Experience is Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI is strongly preferred • Able to liaise with Client/Business teams to propose new offerings/solutions for IT transformation initiatives around analytics and digitization Job type: Permanent Division: eTeam Workforce Limited Reference: 21-06980
