Cloud Architect

A Cloud Architect is an IT specialist who is responsible for deployment of a company’s cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud infrastructure design and cloud management. Cloud Architect will have experience in architecting and optimizing large IT infrastructure deployments, leading modernization, consolidation and migration projects with various virtualization & cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• · Define and document cloud infrastructure architecture.

• · Analysis of the current technology environment and provide recommendation to address the gaps between the current and future state.

• · Coordinate with applications architects and data architects to ensure alignment of the cloud infra architecture.

• · Lead a team of Cloud SMEs to drive technical integration and quality at all levels of architecture, design and implementation for cloud services.

• · Maintaining broad awareness of industry cloud trends and supplier capabilities to drive cloud service evolution and deployment of cloud capabilities supporting organization’s objectives. This includes developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the major commercial cloud providers

• · Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal.

• · Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to contribute as a leading member of global, distributed teams focused on delivering quality services and solutions.

• · Able to distill complex technical challenges to actionable and explainable decisions.

• · Inspire DevOps/CloudOps teams by building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary.

• · Demonstrate excellent technical & architecture skills in the context of cloud based global platform/product design, service management and product lifecycle management.

• · Design and implement business cases based on Automation to achieve higher levels of IT operational efficiencies.

• · Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn new and emerging technologies and developing a vision of their suitability and role as a new product within a platform & product landscape.

• Qualification:

• · 10 Years of experience

• · Any graduate
