Cloud Experienced QA Engineer

Location - Barcelona, Spain

Contract duration – 12 months ( subject to extension)

Note: Candidate should be able to travel to the client location at least 2 times in a week as requested must

We are looking for Cloud experienced QA Engineer to join our R&D team and continue growing our product! It is mandatory the QA engineer will have an experience with natively deployed cloud applications.

Responsibilities will include

• Planning and execution of tests on both Front and Backend sides as well as integrations with external services

• Executing hands-on manual tests of our application

• Create weekly qualification status reports

• Conduct manual testing to identify defects, ensure functionality

• Use a variety of tools for debugging and executing tests e.g. postman, testRail

• Report and track defects using defect tracking systems, and work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution

• Report to SQA Team lead

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper communication and alignment throughout the software development lifecycle

• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools, technologies, and industry trends to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success

Requirements and Qualifications

• Graduate of a software testing course or a relevant academic degree

• At least 2 years of experience as a manual software tester

• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices

• Familiarity with software testing techniques, test case design, and test execution

• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems

• Knowledge in Networking - advantage

• Orientation to Automation - advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as in a team
