About the role
Cloud Security Architect JD
In this role you will help to securely design, deploy, and maintain cloud services, infrastructure, and applications to keep enterprise data safe. Your responsibilities will be to:
Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues;
Architect, deploy & maintain SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS cloud solutions for applications
Ensure solutions are maintained for high availability, scalability, security, and supportability
Design and architect security frameworks, automation and orchestration to secure cloud infrastructure and applications
Ensure all risks and security threats in the cloud environment are properly identified, documented, and propose mitigation options
Review current system security measures and recommend & implement enhancements
Provide security guidance and oversight to service and operational teams by participating in design reviews and threat modeling
Evaluate security technologies for cloud environments
Help Customer in converting Cloud security strategy into execution plan.
Implement Cloud Security products as per project plan.
Do POC and help practice develop capabilities on Cloud Security Products.
Architect and Implement solutions that leverage cloud native security features and controls for authentication, authorization, isolation, and encryption, and integrate with open source and vendor tools
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of security architect experience
2+ years of experience set in cloud development, architecture, & technologies
3+ years of experience with building security solutions in Microsoft Azure/Client Web Services (AWS) environments
Deep knowledge and understanding of ISO 27001/27002, OWASP, ITIL and COBIT frameworks
Desired Skills and Technologies:
CISSP or CISM certified
Public Cloud Certifications
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges, solutions, and the value proposition of Cloud-based architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-starter able to execute independently, with slight supervision if needed
Good understanding of leading public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Expertise in native security features of leading public cloud platform providers
Hands on experience on deploying & supporting various network security platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, and Cisco ASA / Firepower, F5 ASM, Zscaler, Bluecoat on cloud
Hands on experience on deployment and support of Qualys, McAfee, Venafi, CyberArk, Microsoft PKI over cloud
Should be ready to travel.
