Cloud Solutions Architect Opening for WIPO - Property Organization in Geneva

Essential Skills:

(ALL or these skills MUST be written/ demonstrable on the CV or the candidate will not be considered)

Total experience of 12-15 years, with 5+ years in consulting/design/implementation of scaled,

distributed cloud applications

4+ years of Cloud Native experience working with Containers/Microservices/Kubernetes etc

Proven Cloud architecting experience for at least 3 organisations, including re-architecting applications for cloud migration

Migration of applications into a scaled, distributed/hybrid cloud

Experience with at least one cloud orchestration tool such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform

Experience architecting and designing cloud-native applications leveraging PaaS and/or serverless FaaS

The ideal candidate should be from an application background (developer in the early years)

Essential Qualifications and Skills

AWS Solution Architect Certification; Associate or Professional.

In-depth knowledge of cloud providers and virtualized infrastructure

Expertise in container orchestration tools like OpenShift, Kubernetes etc.

Hands-on experience in DevOps toolchain - Jira/GitHub/Jenkins/Liquibase or equivalent

Experience in infrastructure automation tools like Chef/Puppet/Ansible

Excellent document production skills - design documents, architecture diagrams
