About the role
Exact position title: Configuration Management Engineer
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
· Understand the capabilities that CPQ Cloud offers to manage the complex challenges of combining components and parts into a sellable product.
· Work with multiple business units to gather product and business rules and translate into configuration logic.
· Code, configure, unit test, and document changes to the configurator.
· Develop configuration models using configuration logic for new product introductions and existing products.
· Provide on-going maintenance to configuration models as product and/or business rules change over time.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with many different teams across our business, including corporate.
· Coach by evaluating the structuring of the configurations done by partners and suggest potential alternatives or improvements.
· Mentor and train less experienced peers.
Education and Specific Knowledge/Skills:
· Not prefer fresh candidate. At least 1 year experience in related field.
· Use business knowledge and a solid understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud product capabilities to define system designs that meet both business and sales end-user requirements · Perform required setups in the Oracle CPQ configurator, commerce, quoting modules and Support end-to-end sales business process testing.
· Experience in basic to complex build of ordering interface which may impact multiple products, manufacturing locations, and/or end customers and which may require coordination of diverse intricate implementation tasks.
· Must have the ability to work with details and develop a high level of accuracy.
· Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a desire to actively contribute to the group's success.
· Must be systematic and work with minimum supervision; capable to perform root cause analysis and risk prevention for false information.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals across all levels of the organization.
· Ability to work in a multicultural, multi –geographical environment.
· Able to work odd hours when required and IT related area support
Additional Information:

Minimum Education background: Degree in Computer science (Software/ programming)

Please look for candidate with CPQ background, or at least Oracle background.

Good knowledge in basic programming language C++ and Java.

Candidate with good knowledge in Bean Markup Language (BML) will have added advantages.
