Data Modeller

JD:

• Minimum 5 years of senior experience in Data design and Data Warehousing (especially Client database)

• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Data Modeller in both 3rd Normal Form and Dimensional Modelling

• A good knowledge in any data modelling tools, e.g. ER Studio is the preferred option

• A good knowledge and experience of Data Analysis within a Data Warehouse environment.

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development and Inmon and Kimble Data warehousing methodologies

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience in Data Lake Architecture and design

• Follows Company design methodology and standards

• Recommends design solutions and hardware requirements that align with business value

• Provides technical advice to other departments within the organization

• Produce quality design artefacts

• Communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale

• Keeps team members informed of changes in processes, design decisions and policies

• Leads implementation of solutions that will improve the performance, quality, processes and best practices

• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of underlying data

• A good understanding of how Agile and Waterfall delivery methods work
