Data Science Engineer

Job Title: Data Science Engineer

Location: Shoreditch (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months contract

Duties:

Own the data collection, analysis, and delivery of critical metrics for an enterprise SaaS product team.

Collaborate with a digital marketing business' technical team to understand where data is stored and how it can be extracted.

Analyze customer usage data and derive insights for product, customer success, and marketing teams.

Standardize insight generation and help build automated self-service tools for the same.

Own and lead relationships with partners across digital marketing businesses.

Skills

• SQL, R (dplyr, ggplot2) /Python (pandas, scikit learn), Spark or similar languages are required.

• Experience in statistics, hypothesis testing and manipulating big data is required.

• Experience in version control systems such as GIT required.

• Experience in a DevOps role, configuring and launching Docker containers, Jenkins for CI/CD, airflow for scheduling and orchestration preferred.

• Ability and preference to work in a constantly evolving and less defined business environment.

• The ability to work with disparate teams, often in different geos, prioritize tasks and follow up on them is crucial for success in this role.

• Knowledge of the digital marketing industry preferred but not required.

• Education & Experience:

• 2- 3 years proven experience working in data science, product analytics, or other related field.

• Degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics or related fields are strongly preferred.
