About the Role

We are seeking a talented and innovative Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics team. In this role, you will focus on the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions. You will be instrumental in building scalable AI applications, with a strong emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and autonomous agentic workflows. You will work in a cloud-native environment, deploying solutions on OpenShift to ensure high performance and reliability in production.

Key Responsibilities

AI & ML Development: Design, implement, and maintain machine learning models for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision, ensuring high performance and scalability.

RAG & Search: Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using Azure AI Search or equivalent technologies to enable efficient information retrieval and indexing.

Agentic AI: Research, design, and implement agentic AI workflows, enabling autonomous agents to perform complex, multi-step tasks through tool integration and advanced decision-making logic.

Model Optimization: Perform prompt tuning for Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundation models. Conduct performance tuning, A/B testing, and monitoring to optimize AI systems in production.

Containerized Deployment: Deploy and orchestrate cloud-native AI applications using OpenShift or Kubernetes.

Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with software engineers and solution architects to embed AI/ML capabilities into web and mobile applications.

Prototyping & Innovation: Explore and prototype emerging concepts such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enhance system interoperability and functionality.

Best Practices: Document technical designs, contribute to code reviews, and maintain best practices in software engineering and machine learning.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or enterprise application development.

Technical Expertise:

Programming: Strong expertise in Python for scripting, automation, and model development.

AI/ML: Proven experience building and maintaining models for NLP and computer vision.

RAG Pipelines: Hands-on experience designing and optimizing RAG applications.

Agentic Workflows: Familiarity with implementing autonomous agents and integrating tools with LLMs.

DevOps & Deployment: Experience deploying applications with container orchestration platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.

Performance Analysis: Experience with A/B testing, model monitoring, and performance tuning in production environments.

Emerging Tech: Knowledge or interest in interoperability standards like the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
