Detailed JD to follow, Role : (Data Stage+ ETL) developer

Work Location : Amsterdam, Netherlands

JD for the (Data Stage+ ETL) developer

Extensive knowledge & strong hands-on in designing, developing, and testing ETL jobs using IBM DataStage.

Strong knowledge of DWH Concepts like slowly changing dimensions and data models(FSLDM, Data Vault).

Expertise in using SQL to perform various activities on variety of DBs like DB2, Netezza, SQL Server and Snowflake.

Must have hands-on experience in DataStage Designer, Director, and Administrator.

Must have hands-on experience in performing root cause analysis and producing suitable bug fixes.

Must have hands-on experience in data analysis using all type of SQL joins/aggregate functions/window functions, etc.

Must have excellent documentation skills and exposure to Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, etc

Nice to have – Hands on experience with Denodo.

Responsible to deploy the solution by considering all best practices.

Ensure standards of development are being met.

Follow the best engineering practices of software design/development/testing to assure quality deliverable.

Prepare test data and plan and conduct basic unit testing or module testing.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills needed to support enterprise high availability DWH applications.
