Key Responsibilities

Work in a team with focus on Production Support, performance and tuning, design, deployment and support of Oracle and Oracle RAC Database for Client DHP Platform and Infrastructure systems

Analyze the needs of users to help identify Database problems and initiate the process for proposing solutions

Ensure requirements of the business users are captured, documented and clearly understood by development, QA, and other IT groups before a solution is developed and implemented

Coordinate and participate in Hosting Services stability initiatives that aim to improve integrity of the production environment

Build and support the BCP initiatives and ensure infrastructure compliance against Client security baseline and Audit requirement

Perform above tasks while at the same time adhering to Hosting Services policy around incident, problem and change management and best practices

In addition, staff will need to be conscious, aware and practice Client 5 competencies.

· Oracle RAC

· Oracle OMS GRID

· Oracle Design Database performance Tuning

· Linux, Solaris

· Knowledge of MSSQL a plus
