About the role
Mechanical Design Engineer
Central Tasks:
• Review of client specifications and support of tender activities
• Design and modification of components and assemblies, including creation of drawings, bills of materials and test procedures
• Preparation of engineering documentation like operation and maintenance manuals, installation procedures, maintenance procedures
• Definition of functional requirements for purchased parts and clarification with suppliers
• Support of suppliers during project execution to ensure the equipment meets the technical requirements
• Failure investigation, creation of rework and retest instructions, as well as investigation reports
• Technical support for and interface clarifications with clients as well as OneSubsea Celle internal and other OneSubsea plants worldwide
Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering (Bachelor, Master) or comparable education

• Knowledge and experience in design engineering, entry-level applicants are also welcome

• Good written and spoken German and English (German language level B1).

• Good communication skills

• Good computer knowledge (MS Office)

• Good knowledge in 2D & 3D CAD programs

• Knowledge in FEA calculation
-
• Competency in persuasion, decisiveness, self-reliance and teamwork
