Experience and well verse in Java REST API development

Skills & Attributes

• Must have (maximum of 5 bullet points) Technical Skills

1. Must possess at least 2 years experiences in Cloud and Infra technology to lead the infrastructure discussion with Infrastructure team and vendor.

• 2.Must possess at least 5 years experiences in Java REST API application & OAUTH development & support.

1. Able to perform analysis/design and prioritise based on project needs and deliver quality deliverables.

2. Must be familiar with SPRING, SpringBoot, CRNK framework for API development, OSAP API, JPA and OOP methodology.

3. Knowledge in Linux OS, DevOps tool and processes such as Jenkins, Stash Bitbuckets & run deck, IBM Liberty.

• Soft Skills

1. Possess self-initiatives with minimal supervision

2. Able to meet and comply to LCC, QMF and risk elements, which includes ensuring process, security, regulatory and audit requirements are met

3. Good and clear communication skills

• Nice to have Familiar with Integration Domain

• Familiar Mainframe IBM Liberty (OMVS)

• Familiar with Credit Card & Reward systems

• Familiar with Agile methodology

• Familiar with testing tools such Cucumber, Selenium

• Key Responsibilities

• To lead infrastructure discussion with SCB infrastructure team and Vendor on cloud and interface integration.

• To involve in the development of REST API and SOAP API

• Influences technical decisions which involve technology that falls within area of specialization.

• Contributes to the specification and design stages of a project, providing detailed input regarding area of specialization, from feasibility through to implementation.

• Provides ongoing support and expert advice to the development team throughout the life of the project.

• Monitors the deployment of all technology (within the area of specialization).

• Monitors and evaluates the performance of technology (within the area of specialization) when deployed in new or unique circumstances

• Strongly influences control procedures and processes that exist in relation to the deployment of technology (within the area of specialization)
