The Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing best practices and strategies in DevOps and driving the growth of the IT business in DevOps area:
F ormulate DevOps strategies , policies, governance in Application Development
Lead the build deployment, software configuration, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release engineering process for a new platform initiative for telco
Guide the project teams on DevOps best practices including scalability and performance tuning processes
Collaborate with the team leads to coordinate the release schedule and resolve any issues that impact the release and deployment of the platform
Support Training & Development team on DevOps capabilities training program s
Keep abreast with the trend and development in the industry and optimize the DevOps methodology and process
The Person:
Degree holder in Computer Science , Information Technology or related disciplines
A m inimum of 8 years experience in IT profession
Experienced in DevOps, Release management and delivery to production , Automated deployment, Continuous integration, Continuous delivery and release engineering
Technical knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, JUnit, Nagios and other open-sourced DevOps tools
E xperience d in project implementation using Agile methodologies and best practices
Possesses certificate in Agile Project Management will be an added advantage
Effective verbal and written communication in English
Good leadership, analytical, inter-personal and problem solving skills
Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in challenging environment
Candidates with less experience will be considered as DevOps Specialists
