DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to help us design and build state of the art CI/CD pipelines, IaaC pipelines et all. for big data solutions that underpin AI surveillance models.

You will be responsible to

• implement and deliver high quality software solutions for our new state of the art AI model deployment and execution platform using technologies like Gitlab, ADO, Terraform, Spark, Azure Data Lake, Kubernetes, Java, Python, ReactJS, Postgres etc. • provide DevOps tools and process Subject Matter Expertise to the team and be the DevOps expert in the team by setting up and managing the CICD pipelines • act as resident Azure cloud expert in the development team and liaise with other Azure Cloud and SRE teams for Azure related activities / issues. • demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs • ensure seamless continuous integration and deployment practices • drive automation initiatives to improve development, infra provisioning and release processes • work as a software developer in the Agile Scrum team (added advantage) leveraging one of the many technologies used in the project

Your team You will be member of a young and expanding Data, Analytics & Reporting team part of the Compliance Technology function in Zürich. We provide AI based solutions on top of a big data platform, working closely with peers from the business led data science team, as well as other engineering teams.

Your expertise • have a degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master’s degree) • have 10+ years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (GitLab, Terraform, ADO, MS Azure Cloud Administration, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Kubernetes Service etc.) • have designed, implemented and maintained CICD practices in at least one earlier project • have hands-on experience in working with at least one of technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Python, ReactJS, Postgres, Linux (added advantage) • have Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices part of your DNA • demonstrate strong communication skills • background in IB or Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage) Job type: Contract Division: Darwin Rhodes Reference: 22-01712
