Devops Engineer

DevOps specialist in AWS, Docker and Kubernetes as well as tooling (custom or off-theshelf) to streamline continuous integration and delivery of applications and micro-services. Experience in developing procedures and culture to foster long-term security, resilience, observability and maintainability.

The Supplier will support in providing capability for the following activities:

Audit current infrastructure for potential improvements and simplifications

Review AWS costs and assemble a plan to reduce where possible

Improve resilience and scalability of key services

Review of monitoring/alerting infrastructure and improve where possible

Up-skill development team and enable them to continuously improve infrastructure

Collaborate with the engineering team over the entire software lifecycle. Champion best practices; negotiate operational & non-functional requirements in project specs; supply realistic testing environments; identify and fix bugs; streamline the development workflow and help developers find the best ways to use the available infrastructure.

Ensure the platform operates within our security and privacy guidelines.

Evaluate, deploy and maintain open-source tools to automate the operation of our stack.
