Overview:

We are currently looking for specialists with a start-up mentality to join thje Client Technology Poland centre inKrakow. The Client's technology teams take on the world's biggest financial and data challenges for our customers,building the platforms and partnerships that affect millions of people every day.

The team and the project:

A successful candidate will be a part of the team working with global Wealth Management business. The Krakow's Wealth IT team consists of around 70 colleagues working cross functional and taking care of the applications helping thousands of people in different countries across the world to invest their money in various assets.

Depending on the business needs, the new joiner would be assigned to work in one of the PODs, initially for the UK customers but with a possibility to work with other world markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope of support for services, including resolution of live incidents, post-resolution

• problem management activities,

• Investigate and provide technical expertise in finding root cause of system faults, diagnose

• problems, associated with servers, network and applications,

• Reviewing change and release activity for service impact assessment

• Manage deployment packaging, testing, and implementation of new features,

• Collaborate closely with developers in supporting new features and services,

• Contributing in service transition and acceptance of new entities

• Perform daily checks and monitoring as per requirements.

• Analysing existing solution delivery process to identify opportunities for improvement using

• automation and new technologies,

• Adhering to all service level agreements and metric requirements

• Experience & skills:

• Required:

• Experience supporting production infrastructure on AWS or VMWare platforms

• Basic knowledge of any object programing language

• Experience in Linux administration and/or Bash/Shell/Python scripting

• Practice with databases and SQL

• Strong command of English and confident communication,

• Good decision making and analytical skills,

• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills,

• Desire for continual learning,

• Participate in an on-call 24x7x365 on-call rotation

• Not required but desired:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minor or major in computer science, financial

• services / economics or numerical science

• Experience of working on Wealth platforms, or Financial Planning platforms

• Knowledge of SDLC/Agile methodology is advantageous

• Experience working with Azure, AWS and/or other cloud solutions
