About the role
Job Description
Responsible for providing DevOps tooling consultation on Jenkins, GITHUB, JIRA, Groovy, Docker, Kubernetes and preferably cloud – GCP.
Our key technologies are Jenkins Enterprise, Unix/Linux, Groovy DSL, Github Enterprise, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Splunk and ELK and Public Clouds – Google Cloud and AWS, primarily Google Cloud Platform
Must have 7-8 years of relevant experience in IT.
Have a detailed knowledge of deployment, automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools
Have experience designing and building in the Cloud
Must have solid hands-on Pipeline-as-code exposure and Groovy DSL
Must have solid understanding of Java and Maven
Strong Linux system administration skills, predominantly RHEL. UNIX / Shell scripting
Demonstrate a current knowledge of latest DevOps tooling and practices
Experience of containerisation, ideally using Docker / Kubernetes
Experience in build and configuration management ideally using Ansible.
Experience in highly available, highly scalable architectures
Exposure of working within an agile and DevOps team. Curiosity with an excellent attitude to pick up new challenges and deliver them
