Devsecops Engineer

• The DevSecOps Engineer will work closely with the partnership platform and product teams to implement security controls that leverage secure methodologies across the DevOps lifecycle. With GCP skills • Consult and govern on the use of API security, container security and cloud security, while leveraging automation across the lifecycle • Lead on security improvements for the JLP Development teams - champion security improvements within the Platform team and helping articulate the value and risks of different pieces of work • Be a DevSecOps expert, skilled in the cultural and technical principles & practices with experience of implementing DevSecOps approach and associated tools within an organisation. • In Depth knowledge and experience of DevSecOps/Application Security/Cloud Security • Understanding security considerations around RESTful APIs • Hardening of orchestrator and container technologies, i.e.: Kubernetes and Docker • Programming and scripting abilities across a range of languages • Experience working with and securing cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), distributed and highly available systems • Security experience across the entire product stack: client applications (mobile, web), backend systems (microservices, data stores, message buses, etc.) • Delivered security by leveraging CI/CD pipelines • Expert technical knowledge of secure engineering principles and standards • Configuration Management with Ansible, Chef or Puppet • Continuous Integration with Jenkins or similar • DevOps practices and Agile methodologies • Consulting within enterprise and the ability to deliver projects • Strong and clear communication skills, both verbal and written MUST HAVE DEVSECOPS AND GCP SKILLS
