Your focus will be:

Secure uptime and quality of all chargers installed in our customers’ home depots

Create test methods, and perform testing and validation of new versions of charger embedded software (ESW) and related integrations to our backend solutions (Charge Point Management Systems, CPMS)

Managing the process and operations for remotely updating ESW/firmware on the installed base of charge points at our customers

Providing expertise in troubleshooting of chargers in operation, using our backend software platform

Act as expert and 2nd/3rd line support to the customer support teams in the Volvo group for solving technically complex problems in charger operations

Act as expert in the charger operations domain of our CPMS system and provide input and requirements towards our CPMS supplier

Together with other team members, you will be working together to build, test and operate an end-to end digital offering with a great and efficient experience for commercial vehicle operators. We believe you have some time of experience from working after university and have an interest in learning more about a new field.

Qualifications likely required to be successful

• University degree relevant to the position: in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or equivalent.

• Curious, good technical skills, an analytical mindset, customer oriented and solution focused

• Good understanding and experience from working with communication protocols and API based integrations

• Experience of verification and validation testing activities within the automotive field

• Driver license valid in Sweden for personal vehicles

• Understanding and solid interest in learning more about the charging ecosystem and relevant communication standards for charging like ISO15118 and OCPP. Experience from electro mobility services, eMSP, charging systems or energy infrastructure is an advantage.

• Ability to work in a heterogeneous environment with several development teams, both in-house and with players in the Digital Ecosystem

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
