About the role
Client is looking for senior members of the team that can engage directly with the business to guide them and build business cases. They need domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:
General Media Domain
Media Supply Chain
B2B Sales & Marketing (Content Sales in Global Markets, potentially also Ad Sales in Global Markets)
Direct-to-Consumer Monetised Media Products in Global Markets (incl. Mixed-media News, SVOD, AVOD, Audio/Podcasts, etc)
Enterprise/Solution Architect
They need to be technical enough to gain the respect of the Technical Architects and work with the delivery teams on the business solutions that they lead. . To be successful, these EAs will need to be comfortable with that and able to propose and get buy-in for solutions that enable low cost/low risk entry points to prove out a business case.
The Software Architect should be responsible for making intuitive high-level decisions for software development.
Ability to see the big picture and propose architectural changes to improve system stability and performance.
Excellent designing skills and able to convert business requirements into technical design.
Experience with a variety of architecture/design patterns and idioms
Review existing application system to ensure high performance and quality standards
Help to assess the security of existing applications and ensure that they meet internal and external compliance mandates.
Guide development team in implementing proposed design.
Be hands on contributor to software systems working with other software engineers to increase speed and reliability.
Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
Decide on the platforms and coding standards to be used in project development
Ensure architectural integrity of software solutions
Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
Ensure that developed software meets the design specifications.
Excellent knowledge of UML and other modelling methods
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
Experience with service oriented architecture (SOA)
A technical mindset with great attention to detail
Ability to contribute at low level. (CUT if required).
Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions
Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal)
Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
