About the role
Job Title: Enterprise Solutions Architect
Your Responsibilities
The Enterprise Solutions Architect will:
Establish IT Architecture Governance framework, Architecture roadmap including as-is and to-be solution architecture blueprints and technology product lifecycle management.
Identifying new opportunities, build solution architecture, evangelise the technology and adjust the solution proposal that meets customer requirements.
The solutions will be based on next-generation IT solutions spanning one or more of the following areas: Digital Workplace, Software Defined Datacentre, Converged Networks, CyberSecurity, Unified Communications, Future Mode Operations including Tooling and Infrastructure Services.
Work closely with the client Account Directors, Service Delivery Managers, Practice Architects, Technical Architects, project managers from client and client side.
Along with the client application development team, client infrastructure support, suppliers and other/client domains as required.
Ensure that infrastructure solutions make the most efficient use of resources, technical and people, to provide the best value to both the client and client.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements that improve customer service and create competitive advantage
You Will Also Be Responsible for

The Enterprise Solutions Architect will be responsible for the following deliverables in addition to the above responsibilities:

Develop as-is and target architecture blueprints and roadmaps.

Manage technology product lifecycle and propose adoption strategy.
-
Create solution presentations and deliver the same to CXO level and other senior stakeholders .
-
Enable and support new business opportunities towards the successful closure of SOW for execution.
-
Develop a High-level overview of the architecture and services being delivered by client to the client.
-
Create and maintain the Architecture Decision log as it relates to the client solutions and services.
-
Implement and Chair the client Architecture Review Board to provide internal solution governance for a business change.
-
Implement and Chair a board/committee for Innovation in Solutions and Services.
-
Produce of 2- 4 innovative solution whitepapers per year.
-
Set-up and run 1 technology day per year with the client and selected client vendors\partners
-
Flexible for short-term business travels.
-
Help resolve issues affecting the infrastructure including performance, processes and service issues.
-
Provide comprehensive technical and procedural advice and guidance to team members, other client domains and customers as required
-
Attendance at the design and other client forums representing client.
-
Support the development of new ideas/business case/opportunities into fully fledged solution proposals during the pre-sales stages.

Identify innovative uses of technology that improve customer service and create competitive advantage
-
Adhere to client technology governance and project framework.
-
Help develop innovative uses of technology in conjunction with client architects and client architects to improve service and cost-effectiveness
-
Be seen as an agent of change within the organisation. Engage with support teams to create energy for change.

Help achieve best practice for client infrastructure to ensure infrastructure, support deliverables and components are consistent with agreed designs and address applicable risk and security considerations.

Your Experience and Qualification
-
Proven Solution design, architecture and consulting experience that can support converting new opportunities into additional business for client.
-
The right person will be highly technical and analytical, possess 10 + years of current solution architecture (implementation/consulting) experience.

Certification in VMware, Microsoft, Azure and AWS
-
Excellent Customer Presentation skills mandatory
-
Solution creation and Presales experience covering multiple technology domains
-
Experience as an evangelist for driving new technology adoption and in Financial Domain required.
-
Professional experience in architecting large-scale distributed applications
-
Working at customer locations across the globe, presenting solutions, putting forward Big Data domain specific information within the context of a sales campaign etc.
-
Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems logically and effectively, including root-cause analysis and actions to solve the problem
-
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including oral, written, presentation and the ability to successfully influence others:
-
Excellent verbal communication including clarifying scope, requirements and deliverables
-
Excellent written communication skills including evidence of concise
-
Infrastructure design documentation
-
Good stakeholder management skills. Able to effectively listen, communicate, challenge and influence team members peer group, suppliers and management

Proven skills in dealing with suppliers (internal and external)

Ability to prioritise and manage your workload effectively and that of a medium sized team

Ability to develop innovative ideas and opportunities for exploiting new or existing infrastructure solutions

Experience in commercial negotiations and how to build contract schedules
-
Ability to investigate and learn (to support the design and implementation of new technical solutions)

Viewed as the trusted advisor to lead analysis of the solution technical environment, assess current state, identify future state, conduct gap analysis, create and communicate the vision, and recommend prioritization from an architecture perspective.

Responsible for identifying technical risks, communicating those risks and recommending solutions that mitigate the risk to the client

It's a plus if you are:

Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts.

Have worked in a similar position for at least 3 years.
-
Enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills

Evidence of tenacity and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Good high-level knowledge in Digital Workplace, Software Defined Datacentre, Converged Networks, Cybersecurity, Unified Communications, Future Mode Operations including Tooling and Infrastructure Services

Knowledge of industry 4.0 framework, AI, Client, Automation and new technology trends.

Must show a willingness to learn if not motivation and ability to gain an understanding of client business units, systems and all client processes.

Knowledge of finance and budget control.
