Job Description: Summary:

The main function of a field deployment engineer is to support the maintenance, integration, architecture, and implementation of enterprise systems and networks. A typical field deployment engineer is responsible for troubleshooting issues across cloud, system, datacenter and network infrastructures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform regular server and infrastructure planning, installation, maintenance, and support

• Work alongside multiple network and infrastructure teams to design solutions across numerous devices and systems

• Perform hardware installation, repair, and upgrades

• Support application packaging, deployments, documentation, and release control

• Research emerging network technologies

• Provide reporting and capability to manage to essential metrics

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, network engineering or related field required

• • Excellent knowledge of server hardware

• • Ability to work independently and with various cross-functional teams

• • Strong knowledge of core LAN/WAN/MAN services
